Weak signal strength means OptiBP is not receiving a strong enough image from your fingertip blood flow. This can happen for a few reasons:
You have a cold finger that reduces the blood flow OptiBP needs to measure. If your fingers are cold, the body has reduced the blood flow to your fingers, which can make it difficult for the camera to get a good reading.
You are pressing your fingertip too hard on the lens. If you are pressing too hard on the camera lens, you can impede blood flow to your fingertip and make it difficult for the sensor to get a good reading.
If you see a weak signal strength mark, try the following:
Warm up your fingers. Rub your hands together for several seconds to increase blood flow to your fingertips. You can also hold your hands under warm water to warm them up and increase blood flow.
Apply less pressure to the lens. Try pressing more gently on the lens while still maintaining full contact and coverage.
